There Is No Parade

This piece was first researched with a a mixture of professional and trainee dancers that were pre selected by applications then was shown in Vienna, Austria at ImPulsTanz 2016 as a result of research and development. From 10mins There is No Parade was then developed in to 20min piece at Bird College Performing Arts UK, 30min version with the graduating year of bachelor degree course at SEAD in Austria and then shortened to a 7.30min version with Shift Youth Dance Company UK.

We are currently organising this piece to be our residency piece. Aim: To create a piece with the local dancers in the area/ town of the performance. ALLEYNE DANCE will be represent at lease one week before their performance and have a short creation period where they teach ALLEYNE DANCE technical classes, lead workshops which would lead to a group piece which would be performed as part of their nights programme. The benefits of this residency is that ALLEYNE DANCE can share their knowledge and skills with the local community, this will also increase interest for the company and generate a larger audience.
