Far From Home Returns to London at Sadler’s Wells East This October

This October, Alleyne Dance’s ambitious production Far From Home returns to London for the first time since 2023. Join us from 15th-17th October 2026 at Sadler’s Wells East to experience a hard hitting, atmospheric, abstract work exploring immigration and humanity.

Far From Home, a narrative dance production that explores immigration and the consequences the search for “a better life” has for those forced to seek it due to social or political devastations.

Six dance artists bring Alleyne Dance’s dynamic, powerhouse style to the stage. The ensemble highlights the emotional and mental stresses of migrant families, as well as the impact on communities where migrants “settle”, as we unpick the meaning of tolerance and practice of integration. The production will also include an intergenerational cast of movers from the local community.
