Alleyne Dance Selected for Studio Wayne McGregor’s RESIDENT 6 2025 Programme

Happy to announce that Alleyne Dance have been selected as one of Studio Wayne McGregor’s six RESIDENT 6 artists for 2025, alongside five other artists whose practice pushes the boundaries of dance, performance, and physical intelligence.

Studio Wayne McGregor is committed to the development of early career artists across disciplines, and to championing the vital freelance talent on which our sector relies. They recognise that artists lack not just funding but space, practical support, networks, and  creative community. Great art in today’s fast-moving cultural and technological landscape is made not in isolation, but as a result of longer-term dialogue, connection and collaboration.  

RESIDENT 6 invites six artists to make Studio Wayne McGregor their home for a year. Connected by a commitment to creative rigour rooted in physical practice, these six artists will inhabit the heart of their global creative network comprising dancers, choreographers, writers, composers, producers, creative technologists, visual artists, sound designers and more.
